 The “Monte La Guardia” estate is located in the town of Cerveteri (Rome province) and really close to the tiny '600 Castel Giuliano village.
Its name comes from the highest mountain that is located inside the estate. Covering an overall surface of 400 acres, almost entirely by woods, it is crossed by 3 streams that originate 3 beautiful waterfalls with natural lakes and leaps of 25/40 feet. Inside this green natural corner it is possible to walk, go by bicycle or by horse in any season of the year.
 The roads inside the estate are private and prohibited to vehicles, apart from business and work use.
The beauty of this site is completed by its panoramic position (220 mt amsl) from where it's possible to spot the Thyrrenian Sea as well as Tolfa mountains and Terminillo mountain. In particularly clear days it is possible to see the whole city of Rome and the Roman Castles area as well. “Monte La Guardia” estate is particularly well preserved, enclosed into a special natural protection area so it's not uncommon to see birds of prey. The “Banditaccia” Etruscan necropolis, which is possible to visit in the center of the town of Cerveteri, improves even more the cultural offer to our guests. It is reachable by car or by walking through the woods that separate it from our agritourism.
 The “Bracciano” lake, which comprehends the town of Anguillara and Trevignano by its shore, is very close too and it can be reached also with public transport. Inside the estate, apart from Etruscan archeologican ruins, an ancient Roman bridge and one from the 1800, it's possible to visit two ruins from the '600 that where used as furnaces by the Vatican State and where iron coming from the Elba island was first processed and then transported on mule's back to the Ladispoli port. Our agritourism offers a vast range of recreation to our most demanding guests that is never repetitive but always different also for who has chosen “Tenuta Monte La Guardia” just to relax.
